Sally Sutton and Brian Lovelock are back with another rhythmic read-aloud – this one describing all the heaving and hammering involved in building a new library. Full of action-packed illustrations and irresistible sound words, it will have kids clamouring to join in. This is a companion to Roadworks and Demolition. It includes a pictorial glossary of all the machines with a short caption of what each machine does. Rhythmic rhymes and onomatopoeic words make this a great read-aloud.

  1. We were lucky enough to have the chance to review this book.
Firstly both my children love this book. My son who is nearly two. and my daughter who is nearly 4. When we first got this book i was having to read it every night.
And i also look after two special needs children and they both loved it. ( for these two young children it was the bight vibrant colours that got them attached to the book. )
My daughter knows most of the words now lol
I love the fact that the book goes on telling the children how they build something.and what sound the tools make. its such a cool book and would make a great birthday present for a young boy who loves books

Thanks so much Family in Focus for giving me the chance to read this book. all the little kids and mummie in this house are all happy
