Follow That Car – Lucy Feather, Stephan Lomb
Packed with comic capers and animal antics, this brilliantly bold book follows Mouse’s madcap race after Gorilla through a variety of exciting settings, from navigating a busy building site, to avoiding an alpine avalanche. But is Gorilla really such a baddie after all? Not at all! Mouse is simply trying to catch him to give him his banana!

Lucy Feather isn’t a real person. It’s the nom-de-plume of members of the editorial staff at Nosy Crow, who often write together with a lot of good humour, tea and chocolate.
Stephan Lomp Sometime during primary school he decided he wanted to be an illustrator, so Stephan started making his own comic books and painting pictures for his friends. As an adult, Stephan spent many years working for ad agencies, web agencies and event marketing companies, doing character design and editorial illustrations. Then, in 2009 his first picture book was published. He is now working on his own stories, which he can’t wait to illustrate.
Follow that car is one of those books that is just going to hold your attention, time and time again.
My son is almost 5 and with a slight obsession for anything with wheels, this was a book that he instantly fell in love with.
Although we often read to him (he loves books) it’s always fun to find a book that you can interact with on a slightly different level. While you’re watching where Mouse and Gorilla are going, you’re also tracing where they have been and always on the lookout for different things within the story.
It’s a great book and one I would definately recommend
