Kinetic Sand is the squeezable sand where you can FEEL the fun. Pack it, pull it, shape it and love it, Kinetic Sand is so incredible you will not be able to put it down!

Easy to shape and mould into simple designs, playing with Kinetic Sand is a magical and mesmerising experience, giving a moment of relaxation for both young and old.
Shape anything you want and use it over and over again. Kinetic Sand never dries out and is gluten free. This soft and stretchy sand easily cleans up while delivering non-stop fun! Feel the difference with Kinetic Sand.

  1. We as children, grew up with the likes of playdoh and various home made versions of mouldable goo/putty and it bought out the creative and imaginative side of our natures. It was one of the staples of a childs play area and encouraged us to get in there with our hands and just simply ‘create’
But now there is Kinetic Sand !!
Now when I first saw this I thought it looked more than a little strange and while hubby had his hands in it straight away (he’s the big kid in our family), I was a little bit more apprehensive.
However on the night of our Toying with Food, it was brought out and I think everyone had a play, including myself.
    I LOVE IT !!
Honestly you can sit there and play with it for hours, just taking the time to have it running it through your hands seems almost therapeudic. It’s not slimy, nor is it dry and it’s kind of hard to explain the texture, but it is just really awesome.
The kids have loved playing with it although it has caused a few fights because they all want to play and we only received a small amount, but the fun that has been had with it has been great to watch.
Because it isn’t slimy or sticky, the kids were able to even play with it on the table in the lounge and when bits dropped onto the carpet, it just wasn’t a problem. Either pick it up, or vacuum it up
Because of how much everyone has loved this, and the fact that it doesn’t create a mess that is impossible to clean, I am going to be buying more for the kids for Christmas.
Definately one of my picks for Christmas !!

    • Thanks for writing this review.
I had been wondering if it had a wet or slimly feel – and also how hard it would be to remove from the carpet!

After reading your review, I think this may appear in some Christmas stockings 🙂

      Thanks again

  2. Being a parent to an Autistic boy I have found Kinetic Sand to be an awesome sensory toy for him. He spends many hours playing with this sand and it seems to have a calming effect on him as he squishes it. Most toys don’t hold my sons attention for very long but this one is a winner. Best thing for me being a parent is its not messy, it doesn’t leave sand grains all over your hands and if my son drops it on the floor including carpet it is so easy to pick up. My teenage son also enjoys Kentic Sand and so do I, once you start playing with it it’s hard to stop, very addictive and great for all ages from 3years to 100years.

  3. i got some of this stuff for my daughter and i look after two Austic children and firstly my daughter loves playing with playdough and i didnt think she would be happy to give her play dough up. But after giving her some of this stuff. I asked her would it be ok if mum throws the playdough out. as it was dry and crusty. ANd to my suprise she said i could. so out in the bin that went and we have not looked back since.
I love the fact that it is so easy to clean up and doesnt leave any behind.
I have even played with it for about a hour and the time just went fast… so thats six thumbs up from me and my children.

and i will be buying her some more in the near future…

Thank you so much for letting me review this product!!! Since I opened it, the kids have not stopped playing with it. My three year old hasn’t touched playdough since we received the sand, everyday he’s asking to play with it, so much so that I will definitely be needing to buy some more very soon. My older kids love it too (9 and 14 years). They spent an afternoon ALL playing together which is a miracle in itself. It really is amazing stuff. It is like stretchy sand that sticks together, the texture is a real sensory experience and really appeals to my younger children in that it’s ‘messy play’. Cleanup is a lot easier than playdough, you can squish together any bits on the carpet and pick up or you can vacuum it straight up. Thank you for the opportunity, it’s safe to say we love it!

I was lucky to receive some of this kinetic sand to try. It took me a while to find a time to open it for the kids as I really didn’t know what it was going to be like. I put down a plastic mat and poured the sand into a flat container. My 1 year old was quick to put his hands in, but that was it, he didn’t know what to do with it. My 3 year old on the other hand was keen to find out what he could do with it. He compacted it in containers and poured it out, cut it in pieces but best of all squeezed it in his hand and then opened his hand and let the fine particles fall through his fingers.

This product was very therapeutic just running your hands through it. There was limited things you could make with it but we found that making mountains and driving cars over them quite fun. There is no stickiness to this at all and there was definitely no need to put the plastic mat down as it was so easy to pick up off the carpet and those bits we missed were vacuumed up easily.

The only thing that I would have liked to see come with this product is a resalable bag. That way it can be kept moist for future use.
