Kiwigarden’s range of allnatural, freezedried snacks was launched in August 2013 by parents of three Joanne Edwards and former All Blacks captain Taine Randell. The couple, who started making freezedried snacks for their children, said they quickly identified a gap in the market for food onthego that was healthy and nutritious without any added nasties.

JoTane“I started trialling various clean foods that I believed would appeal to children using farmers market yoghurt and local fruit and vegetables to create the first range of Kiwigarden range of snacks. It’s real fruit, vegetables and yoghurt presented in a way that is fun to children (especially the fussy eaters), delicious and convenient,” Joanne Edwards said.

NZ Food Awards

Judges for this year’s NZ Food Awards have been impressed with the level of innovation in entries across the sector this year. Food writer Nici Wickes and Auckland restaurateur Geoff Scott say the growth and quality of entries is a testament to New Zealand’s thriving food industry.
Almost 150 products from 79 food and beverage producers were entered for this year’s awards. The NZ Food Awards winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the Auckland Town Hall on 17 September, 2015

To celebrate, Family in Focus has on offer 4 boxes of the Mixed Berry Yoghurt Drops for you to try

MixedBerry

My ‘big crunch’ yoghurt drops are totally addictive and full of nature’s goodies. Some cheeky man said I was a bit sour so they sweetened me up with just a sprinkle of raw sugar. Like Banana & Honey over there, I’m gluten free with no additives and no preservatives.

Just like a berry yoghurt … only crunchy! (Did we mention less mess?)
