Ingredients

  • 6 Egg Whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Sugar extra
  • 1 HEAPED Tablespoon Cornflour
  • 1 Teaspoon White Vinegar (can use normal Malt Vinegar if you want)
  • 1 Tablespoon Cold Water
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C
  2. Beat Cream of Tartar and Egg Whites until stiff
  3. Add the Cup of Sugar and beat again until stiff
  4. Add the 1/2 Cup Sugar, Cornflour, Vinegar, Vanilla and Water into the mix and beat well again
  5. Turn the oven down to 130° and cook Pavlova for around 1 1/4 hours.
  6. Turn oven off and leave Pavlova in the oven to cool
