Thanks for the blue Tangle Teaser!
I have 3 daughters aged 1, 3 and 9.
First, I tried it out on my 1 year old. She has thin straight hair, and it combed through her hair quickly and easily. No complaints! She tried to eat it at one point, but I wasn’t too worried because it doesn’t have nobbly bits that could come off like traditional brushes.
Then I tried it on my 3 year old. She has long wavy hair. She loved using this one herself. She said that it was easy to hold, and it didn’t hurt when I tried to comb it either. Success!!
Next was my 9 year old. She has curly hair – which gets tangled so easily! As she ran the brush through her hair, we watched how easily it styled her hair. No tugging! No fuss! She absolutely loves this brush! A couple of months ago, she had actually broken her ‘traditional’ hairbrush by tugging it, and having it get stuck in her knots. This brush looks sturdy enough to last a while, because it doesn’t get caught in the tangles.
I then tried to use it in my hair. I have super thick straight hair. The girls were right. It was very easy to use, it’s nice to hold, and it doesn’t get caught in the tangles. The other thing I noticed is that it doesn’t pull out hair the way other brushes do. When we use traditional brushes, there’s always hair stuck in the brush that we have to clean out regularly. After using the Tangle Teaser, there was very little strands of hair stuck in the brush (as in 2).
The only negative thing I would say, is that, with my super thick hair, it didn’t feel like it was reaching my scalp, so I wondered if it was really getting through all of my hair. Having said that, this is the best brush I have used on curly hair. I’m looking forward to ‘Santa’ bringing the girls a brush each for Christmas.

I also love the Tangle Teezer. My 2 year old has curly hair and hates getting it brushed or combed. Lots of tears and becomes a real battle. We have the pink flowerpot Tangle Teezer and it is proving an amazing buy. It is quite a bit more expensive than a regular hairbrush however I feel that the lack of stress we now have around hairbrushing time is well worth it!
It doesn’t always seem to get all the little knots out straight away but I have worked out that you just need to take small bits of the hair and brush in several directions and they seem to go.
Also need to be careful about not leaving the brush sitting on its bristles as they will bend and then they won’t work so we currently keep this out of the reach of my 2 year old. We do let her use it to brush her own hair though and then Tangle Teezer is a nice size for her to be able to hold.
Like that she will be able to store some of her hairties in the flowerpot as she gets older too.
I was lucky enough to review the orange tangle teezer. I have been so excited to get my hands on this. Being a hairdresser I have come along a lot of products that claim to do wonderful things for hair, but just don’t live up to the claim. But I found the tangle teezer Amazing! !!!!! It makes life so much easier for a mum who dreads comb time after the kids are bathed, it generally ends up in tears and tantrums but with this product Charli doesn’t even notice that she is having her hair brushed and even asks for me to do it instead of running in the opposite direction. It glides through wet or dry hair with ease. Makes quick work of my long curly knotty mane, without making my ends look dry and damaged. I find I can walk out of the house static and frizz free without having to do anything else to my hair which has been saving time!! When I first saw it I was concerned about the bristles being a bit sore on heads but I find it very relaxing and has been awesome for the kids cradle cap! After researching it a bit more on the net, love all the funky designs and colours these come in & even make aqua ones to use in the shower!! Will definitely be buying more of these for everyone in the family.
Fabulous product that I would recommend for the whole family 10/10

I bought one of these recently from the chemist for my 2.5 year old. She hates having her hair brushed, and it often turns into a tantrum. I would say that the brush is much better than a normal hair brush, and she now seems to be more tolerant. Her hair is fine, but gets lots of tangles and knots, and it works well on these.
